Leadership responsibility for engineering personnel at two sites;
Translating financial goals and objectives to practical operational solutions by identifying and seeking operational opportunities to continuously make improve using Lean Manufacturing and other Continuous Improvement activities;
Supervising the fabrication department to drive costs down and quality and completion of projects up;
Allocating proper manpower levels to support schedule requirements;
Working with capacity management tools for continued growth;
Managing all new projects and processes.
EDUCATION: 4-year degree required; Engineering preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
5
years of related manufacturing engineering experience;
Experience building an organization;
Experience with manufacturing processes from machining, welding, hands-on problem solving, cost estimating, technical writing, cost reduction techniques and quality requirements;
Leadership experience with a team of engineers and technicians, employee development;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
CNC machining background is a plus.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
