Driving Continuous Improvement efforts throughout the organization: Lean, TPS, Six Sigma, 5S, etc.;
Ensuring product quality and providing appropriate associate training to ensure quality and manufacturing requirements are met;
Driving and maintaining a Zero Incident Safety Culture;
Meeting production and shipping schedules;
Ensuring customer requirements are met;
Developing and maintaining the operations budget;
Managing hourly staffing to meet schedule;
Directing production supervisors;
Hiring, training, developing and evaluating staff;
Ensuring federal, state and local regulation compliance;
Fostering a climate of positive employee relations.
EDUCATION: 4-year degree required; Engineer, Business Management or related disciplines preferred.
Experience:
7
years of related operations experience;
Previous management experience leading teams of 100 or more employees;
Experience working in a multi-shift operation;
Knowledge and experience in control plans: SOS, CTQs, LTAs;
Knowledge and experience in continuous improvement: Lean, TPS, Six Sigma, 5s, etc.;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
