Planning of daily production parts and requisitioning of purchased parts;
Monitoring inventory levels and recordkeeping processes;
Assisting in establishing and preparing purchasing and production forecasts;
Daily monitoring of inventory levels, audits and cycle counts for each of the controlled warehouse areas;
Reviewing, analyzing, identifying and correcting of the facilities negative inventory report;
Periodically doing audit and cycle counts in each of the production lines to ensure accurate counts;
Periodically monitoring BOM for accuracy of counts in orders being shipped to customers;
Providing direct assistance in coordinating and executing annual inventory audits.
EDUCATION: 2-year or 4-year degree required; Materials Management, Production Planning or similar disciplines preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
One or more years of experience working with materials requisition planning and scheduling;
Working knowledge of heavy manufacturing, fabrication, coating and assembly processes;
Working knowledge of shipping and distribution processes;
Working knowledge of MRP production planning and scheduling system and processes;
Familiar with and able to read blueprints and technical documentation;
Must be proficient in communication and interpersonal skills;
Proficient with MS Office Word, Excel and Access.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
