Position Description:
Provides counseling/advising on academic matters to student athletes; develops and evaluates athletic academic assistance programs; assists with the department's CHAMPS/Life Skills program; counsels student athletes experiencing unacceptable academic progress; and coordinates the department's academic eligibility reporting.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required.
Required
Qualifications:
At least one year of experience in athletics academic advising, student services or related field required. Student experience will be considered. The sucessful candidate must abide by the rules of the NCAA, the Missouri Valley Conference, the Missouri Valley Football Conference, the Mid-American Conference and the University of Northern Iowa.
Desirable
Qualifications:
Experience with NCAA compliance and eligibility preferred. Master's degree preferred.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
