Managing the Materials and Inventory Departments;
Driving material savings year over year, through continuous improvement, change management and teamwork to optimize operations;
Mentoring and coaching teams to drive standardization and consistency in work practices;
Managing raw material, packaging materials, WIP inventory levels, and customer line fill for all products;
Leading the SIOP process for the plant;
Maintaining the minimum inventory balance for raw materials;
Maintaining a professional relationship with vendors;
Ensuring proper corporate procedures are followed for contract bids;
Ordering and expediting of general items purchased.
EDUCATION: 4-year degree is required.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
3
years of experience in a materials role, with 2
years of supervisory experience preferably in high-volume, process oriented manufacturing;
Working knowledge of transportation, logistics, purchasing and supply chain management;
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma methods;
Proven leadership skills, ability to drive change and process improvements;
Strong organizational and Program Management skills;
Computer competency with advanced SAP skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
