ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
COMPANY ORGANIZATION AND GOALS Plans, develops, and implements organization policies and goals.
Analyzes, coordinates, and monitors goals & objectives for all departments.
Directs departmental meetings to achieve goals and objectives and report on progress.
Directs quarterly management review meetings.
EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT Establishes and measures objective goals for all staff members Conducts performance evaluations and recommends wage changes for staff members.
Develops and maintains an effective organization through selection, training, compensation, and motivation of personnel.
Develops talents necessary to obtain short and long- range goals by effective direction, counseling, and training.
Develops organizational structures and staffing requirements.
Prepare and direct programs for employee development.
Maintains employee files.
Ensure collective bargaining contractual compliance.
Obtains and compiles all relevant information prior to and pertinent to union negotiations.
Improve and monitor work comp mods and claims.
SALES Coordinates and recommends timely yearly sales forecast.
Evaluate sales and market conditions along with vendor and internal costs to determine and recommend price increases.
Monitor (track) sales quotes and orders.
Prepares outside sales and tube conveyor commissions.
Identify and evaluate trade show presence and return on investment.
Directs and monitors sales personnel.
FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING Ensure that sound accounting, budget, and other financial controls are in place to support strategic plans and are being implemented at all levels within the accounting department.
Directs the preparation of budgets and provides regular and special expense and cost control reports.
Monitor employee payroll and 401K practices and compliance.
Review and evaluate monthly financial statements.
Implement procedures to develop and ensure that the company has accurate costs.
TECHNOLOGY Assess and direct technology upgrades.
Research and recommend software changes and/or utilization.
Establish goals and recommend timelines and procedures to promote effective and efficient use of the Configurator resource.
MANUFACTURING Initiates, implements, and monitors various programs that lead to improved quality, lower costs, and overall efficiency and productivity.
Monitor and evaluate purchasing activity and take proactive measures as necessary.
Evaluate necessity for and effectiveness of overtime.
Monitors operating conditions and manufacturing schedules on a frequent basis by collaborating with Engineering, Purchasing and Scheduling Oversee accuracy of Bill of Material structure for each product line SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directly supervises all staff employees.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include being involved in interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree (B.

) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
