Caregiver Duties:
- Provide assistance and support to individuals in their daily activities - Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing - Administer medication according to prescribed schedules and dosage instructions - Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel - Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks - Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques and equipment - Provide companionship and emotional support to clients - Implement behavior management strategies as needed - Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times - Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred - Knowledge of first aid and CPR - Familiarity with medication administration systems - Ability to work with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities - Understanding of hospice care principles is a plus - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong organizational and time management abilities - Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and compassion - Knowledge of resident rights and commitment to upholding them If you are passionate about providing compassionate care to individuals in need, we would love to hear from you.
